Dog & Cat Licenses - Deadline Extended to June 1, 2020

Dog and Cat Licenses - Deadline Extended to June 1, 2020

Dog and cat licenses for 2020 are available at City Hall, 710 S. Janesville Street. Due to the closure of City Hall effective Marcy 17 (except for voter registration and absentee voting), the deadline to purchase licenses for your pets has been extended through June 1, 2020.

All dogs and cats in the City of Milton over 5 months of age must be licensed each year. A $10 late fee per animal will be assessed after June 1, 2020.

Fees:

  • Spayed / Neutered: $8
  • Non-Spayed / Non-Neutered: $15

There are alternative options available to pay for your licenses other than coming in to City Hall:

  • By Mail. Mail your pet’s rabies vaccination information and payment to City Hall, 710 S. Janesville Street, and include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Staff will process the payment and mail your license and documentation back to you.
  • Drop Box at City Hall. Place your pet’s rabies vaccination information and payment in the drop box located outside of City Hall, and include a self-addressed stamped envelope. Staff will process the payment and mail your license and documentation back to you.
  • By Phone. If your pet’s rabies vaccination information is current in our system, call City Hall at (608) 868-6900 to pay for the license over the phone. Staff will process the payment and mail your license to you.

If you have any questions, please call City Hall at (608) 868-6900.
